Becuase it was right not to see it, to see it right?

Was anything said about the Oneness idents at Edinburgh this week?

I have a horrible feeling that BBC One winning channel of the year is going to be some kind of vindication for Charlotte Moore that all is well on the channel, including the appalling presentation.

On a separate note, I see BBC One have launched a "Big on BBC One this week" highlights trailer, in the same mode as the "This week on the BBC" arts trailer.

Here’s the full Meet the Controller feature with the Director of BBC Content, if anyone’s interested.

I’m doubting that the idents have been mentioned at the talk on Thursday. Then again, no new look was referenced last year when the circles teetered to the 10 year mark (yet the first two Oneness idents were filmed in November, and in December, the refresh was internally announced).

However, even though BBC ONE has been doing a grand job with its programming, with the likes of Car Share and Line of Duty to name a few, the presentation shouldn’t be entirely put to the backburner, especially as one of the prime British TV channels today.
Rory, paul_hadley and Custard56 gave kudos

Is "Bog Snorkelers" new? Just been on HD.

EDIT - Just checked the wiki and apparently it isn't. Good lord I've been lucky not to see that one.

Took me quite a few TXs before I could decide if the girl on the right was wearing clothes or was a half-caste smurf.

Len Goodman's Partners In Rhyme which has already been commissioned for a 2nd series and a Christmas Special only achieved 1.21m in the ratings last night. Another Saturday flop to go alongside the likes of Don't Scare the Hare, that Puppet Gameshow and I Love my Country.

Bigger drop than last week’s 1.9 million, for sure.

Not long before next week’s episode dips below the million mark.

I know they've got to make things relevant for da yoof but that still frame makes it look like it was in the format of a rap battle.

(Rap battles are a thing, right?)
