Should think so too, that it where it happened after all.
Schedule Change:
BBC News NI Special on the Birmingham Bombings on BBC One Northern Ireland at 22:40 is also to be simulcast on BBC One Midlands.

Not strictly simulcasting, looks like NI dropped the national weather and started the programme earlier.
Sky EPG suggests NI are timeshifting the rest of the evening and Midlands are going back to network after the special.
Edit: Scratch that, Midlands are dropping Have I Got a Bit More Old News For you and showing Peter Kay

Joint NI and Midlands continuity, anyone?

Midlands put out network menu and ident both of which suggested Have I Got Old News For You was on in half an hour.
Sky EPG here shows them timeshifting everything and joining BBC News at 1:30 which made me wonder if they might do joint continuity with NI considering the sxhedule was the same, it would save having to keep someone back to put things right after 3 hours.

Yes it's been updated now and shows that they are indeed timeshifting the whole lot. Shame they are just playing out the network junctions though.

NI haven't shown the national weather forecast in years and Wales followed their example a year or two ago

This post in the "shows that people forget" thread reminds me to mention that BBC1 have quietly had another go at reviving Holiday, this time under the title "How to Holiday Better", with Cherry Healey and the ubiquitous Ade Adepitan. It's the standard fare with guest presenters reporting from holiday destinations (Steph McGovern and Richard Madeley) with a side agenda of showing families that they could get better value not going all inclusive.
Looks to just be a single episode, so presumably a pilot. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08y6ddq
Does anyone remember Holiday Outings? Often shown as filler material on BBC2. Basically, there would be a video, of someone visiting a place, that had originally been shown on Holiday on BBC1.
