I take it the banger ident is for the evenings?

Not sure about Banger Racers though.

But, judging from Twitter, it looks like Boxers is imminent to air. Also, filmed in Birmingham.

Anyway, it's rubbish like the rest of them.

Although it looks good, I almost choked on my cornflakes!! That is quite frightening!! I would go as far as to say it's more chilling than the Channel 4 ident launched in 2015 which rarely airs nowadays as people found it off-putting.

I'd prefer them to be ambitious and fail miserably than be bored to death. It's the same rubbish with a different theme applied because the execution is fundamentally flawed and nothing meaningful has been done to address it, other than cinematography being brought up to minimum broadcast standard.

6 months on and it's the same story - the flagship channel deserves better than this.

The one bogs I do like, its the fact, as others have said there look in the camera for no good reason Maybe if there just went straight in to the action there would be better.

Well they're certainly not getting better. There is just nothing about them at all - they're completely forgetable and having nothing visual and more importantly no soundtrack just to make them undeniably BBC1. An ident should be a call to arm(chair)s and these do nothing of the sort.
