They used to have a generic"Regional News" slide in the stripey era that was used in an interval before the regional news before Play School in the afternoon with a picture of people standing around in the regional newsroom.
You could probably do a reasonable news safe ident in NBH for use before the news. No tripod needed, just use Trundle Cam.

I have to admit I've been getting more used to some of the new idents now, partly as I think some of the recent ones have been a bit better than the originals. This is one of the worst though, very unnatural and boring.
