BBC Oneness - idents and presentation

I'm surmising that it could come next month - considering that Wimbledon is starting around that period of time.

I'm surprised that they've now got four new idents to dish out this month.

I'm going to break with everyone in saying that a little light-heartedness is needed in idents right now, even if it is a little drab. I quite like what I have seen of them so far, especially the bog one. It's a little quirky and outside the norm for an ident, but who says BBC One can't break with tradition a little bit?

You play out those ident to "the broken " or six o'clock news.

I can't really see where the Bog Snorkeller idents can ever be shown and be deemed wholly appropriate. Oh, I have one ....leading into a PEB for The Monster Raving Loony Party.

Have the Sea swimmers and Exercise class idents been withdrawn? Haven't seen them for ages.

God I hope so! But don't mention them or else they might return!

Exercise Class has been withdrawn but Sea Swimmers is still being used. The only original ident left.

Is there a reason for the withdrawal of the Exercise Class?

Because the BBC have finally seen a slither of sense and realised it was a poor "ident"?

If they had finally seen full sense they would have realised by now that they're all p*ss poor and put the hippos back on until they can afford something much better.

And for those who say that 'Forest' is a good ident... it's a picture of some trees. That does not make an ident.

Unless you are an insider who knows this for sure, I don't see how you can make this assertion. Not enough time has passed since it was last seen to draw such conclusions.
