Still don't understand the point of the shaky camerawork. If Bhangra was shot static, or maybe with a jib to slowly drift in altitude to add interest, it would be getting on for as good as being worthy of inclusion into the Rhythm and Movement set (on first impressions).
This is the problem I have with them. It's usually an unsteady camera pointing at a bunch of randoms not doing much. At least with Rhythm & Movement some effort was made. Red as a theme, the same tune but with different musical variations, choreography like in Music Video & Bollywood, a slow motion effect added or sweeping camera movements.
Oneness idents are anti idents to me. They tick every single box about what I hate when ad agencies or uncreative people do idents. Even the earliest BBC idents had creativity and effort put into them like Batwings and the mirror globe.
What a sad state of affairs TV presentation has become.
And before anybody says it's only TV and don't take it seriously. This forum is for exactly that.
