19 - if you count Forest. The BBC never really gave the indication in the press that there would be two a month - further disproved by the addition of 3 idents.
If the next few months do replicate what's happened in February (i.e no new idents), the current set would have well been dead in the water.
Nobody said it would be two a month - just some people have jumped to that conclusion. If they've any sense they'd have scrapped filming the other twenty and gone back to the drawing board.

Or maybe no one wants to be in the new idents?

I posted the theory earlier on this thread, and it was nothing more than a theory, that there could be two new idents introduced per month, which was based purely on reports that 24 idents, or scenarios, in all were planned, and that it was a year-long project. I even thought it could be two different idents per month, though that was largely wishful thinking that those swimmers might get dumped at the end of January.
All quickly proved wrong, of course, but unfortunately it is tends to be the way of online forums that 'theories' and 'rumours' can so easily get transformed into 'facts'.

Does anyone else think that BBC Sport Scotland endboard (1:23 in the above vid) is a mess? (I assume Network is similar). Like, stuff is randomly located in different parts of the screen making it hard to actually take in all the information.
The day is on the left and time of day is on the right. The BBC One and BBC Sport logos are on the left but BBC Radio Scotland's is on the right. It would make more sense to have date and time located together and the BBC logos located together on the opposite side, with BBC One and BBC Radio Scotland's logos being the same size. That way all the information is tidily grouped and it doesn't take as long to read.

Is that ribbon design what appears on the clean feed between programmes now? Suspect Tony (or his automation) accidentally went to the network feed a little early.
Minor fault on BBC One Scotland last night after This Week. Handled nicely by Tony Currie I thought.
When did they start using the breakdown graphic? I can't remember seeing it before.

They tested it for CBBC after the BBC THREE linear channel was completely closed, in preparation for the extended two hours, and BBC FOUR used it in its downtime during the Olympics.

The network version is a bit neater with the programme name and time left aligned with the logo.

I love how the regional CAs handle little cock ups like that. They don't beat around the bush, they make light of it. Anybody on Network would've grabbed their emergency script and read it word for word, "WE APOLOGISE FOR THIS BREAK IN TRANSMISSION, WE HOPE TO RETURN TO THE PROGRAMME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, PLEASE DON'T SWITCH OVER TO ITV!"
