As someone who has spent many holidays walking through forests, to me it is clear that's what it is. I have many photos taken on the edge of a forest looking out on to mountains, valleys and lochs. Just because it's not a dense thicket of trees doesn't mean it's not a forest, it's just the direction the camera was pointing to make it lighter, I guess.
OK. I've been in contact with a relevant individual (who I will not name) and have found out that
the ident is internally known as Forest.
Therefore, from this point on, I will refer to it as Forest. There's now no further dispute as to its official title, so let's get back to talking about the sh*iteness of this, and the other Oneness idents.
Well Forest/Woods/Wood is at least news-safe, but equally is the dullest ident I think I've ever seen! I'm glad they didn't put the Oneness strap on it, it's badly thought through as it is, would be even worse if they were trying to extend the term to include groups of trees!
