Seems that when they shot " Mountain Rescue" they decided to film a couple of trees and classed it as another ident. I echo everyone elses comments this is so bland and certainly not creative. Think we have found our " News Safe " ident
Yes, I know! But I was just being deliberately pedantic as it's Sunday and I woke up like it! Don't take me too seriously, nobody else does!
All your posts are taken by all of us with this in mind. We all love you though, even though you frequent Digital Spy more than here, wizzywick. lol
Digital Spy? What's that? Never heard of it!
As you know, I used to often go on there, before finding TVF. There's just very few hard-core ident enthusiasts on there. You post something about an ident and people think you're insane or something. I posted about Paper Cut Out being added to the NI set last Monday. Don't think it even got a reply. What's the point!
Seriously, who the hell is watching these, thinking "yeah this is great" and signing them off? This is the worst one yet. Stock footage/bits of rushes and nothing more.
As someone who has spent many holidays walking through forests, to me it is clear that's what it is. I have many photos taken on the edge of a forest looking out on to mountains, valleys and lochs. Just because it's not a dense thicket of trees doesn't mean it's not a forest, it's just the direction the camera was pointing to make it lighter, I guess.
'Trees/Forest/Woods' or whatever it is suffers from the same fundamental issues that befall other idents in the Oneness set, but it manages to be much more drab and lifeless. One positive though - it's suitable for serious programming.

I bet you've trademarked the term 'Wood' for yourself.
