One thing I do like about the mountain rescue ident is that they're all wearing red, which has a link of sorts to the BBC One red colour/background. If people in the other idents wore the same colour it might help to strength the set of idents.
The dog in mountain rescue makes the ident 100x better.
Which makes me think, we need an ident with just dogs sitting there looking at the camera at first, before slowly becoming disobedient and doing other things throughout the course of the ident. Would be a ratings-winner.

That's such an oft-used creative device that I can't believe it wasn't integrated or thought of in some way.

Or how about dogs doing tricks and running through hoops in a circle formation?? Hang on, that seems familiar, where have I see that before
One thing that puzzles me- why is it necessary to have 2 versions of Fitness, Swimmers and Wheelchair basketball? There's very little difference between each respective variation- so what's the point?

A dog and a postman. There you go - free Ident idea.
Two points, Where peter Fogg? also where is Pats glasses? bar that its grand. I do feel sorry for the people in the idents, there have been badly let down by Parr and the BBC.
