Hi, I am getting fed-up of the same film being repeated the next day at the weekend on ITV3. Take, for example, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which was shown yesterday (2:40pm) and again today (11:25am).
Therefore, I have created a new Sunday line-up for ITV3. The film would still be shown but only on a Saturday afternoon and not again on Sundays.
06:00 Survival
0700 The adventures of Sherlock Holmes
0800 Peak Practice omnibus
1305 Crossroads (2001)
1335 Film file
1345 The Darling Buds of May
1445 Forever Green
1545 Agatha's Christie's Poirot
1740 Barbara
1810 The adventures of Sherlock Holmes
1905 The Royal
2000 Midsomer Murders
2200 Wire In the Blood
2330 The Darling Buds of May
0030 Crossroads
0100 Forever Green
0200 Teleshopping
0400-0600 ITV3 Nightscreen

What do you all think? Is it better or worse that the current Sunday schedule?

what about all the old programs from plus?

Crossroads 2001 (not 2003) would be good to see but how about Classic episodes of series like Corrie. ITV3 show hardly any of the things that Plus showed and they are meant to be the replacement Rolling Eyes

Some of us would prefer a channel without any sort of soap on it. Perhaps an idea for yet another ITV Channel would be ITV Soaps. You can all bugger off there.

well what about comedy from thames etc. When plus went the NTL notice board said ITV3 had replaced it. I now see that was just a lie.

Classic Home & Away would be good now Trouble have stopped doing it, but there's no way they're going to do that. (ITV still have the rights up to Episode 2840, the final ITV ep.)

Crossroads 2001/2 would be good, I doubt 2003 will ever see the light of day on UK TV again!

Classic Emmerdale would be fantastic too, to rerun the "revamp" era from 1993-4 would be good.

Have ITV3 got the rights to old plus tapes?

I still think they should have some kids shows so the morning could go:
6.00 Peak Practice Onumibus
11.00-12.00 CiTV Classics Gameshow Sunday[Fun House and Mad For It]

ITV3 has only been on air for less than 3 months. Perhaps they had all their programmes planned for a while, before it was decided to close Plus.

Yes, as ITV Plc bought everything to do with Granada Sky Broadcasting, so they bought everything associated with Plus, but alot of their stuff is either BBC material or junk like Murder She Wrote etc, which ITV probably won't intend to show. But as the channel is credited as an ITV channel then some of the rights may change or even expire.

But I wouldn't hold much hope for Classic Corrie or Emmerdale, or any Thames stuff such as The Sweeney.

Cracker, Wycliffe, A Bit of a Do & Sherlock Holmes have already moved over, so there is some Granada Plus content on there.

why were "five" able to show some classic thames programs a few weeks back? Also why do ukgold show the bill now thames doesn't own any of it, as in times past? Will/can any broadcaster show regular thames programs in the future?
Thanks,
