New ITV1 Idents

New breakbumper. Shiny blue squares.

Did anyone see the new break bumper, better than the old one - this one has squares in!

Nice Break Slide, looks like we might be saying good ridance to all Mk1 Presentation.

I suppose the first set of idents are gone for good then? They would look out of place with these new ones.

I disagree with the "low budget, not enough post production" comment - I dislike the Australian ones because they use far too many computer graphics and they look a bit tacky. These are far nicer.

Im thinking that there may not be new celeb less idents but ones that havent been used before may be coming out.

I loved the look of that trailer. They have obviously taken time over the set and the totally yellow and blue looks great. I wonder what they will be like as idents and if they will keep the old music.

Because the set is so different and bold they look great and look like idents, I hope they are going to use a different form up on the celebrity idents, though I bet they wont.

The only thing that disapointed me was the itv1 logo on black, they could have easily put one of the short animations used during nighttime or the itv1 logo over the new shiny squares background.

New promo for daytime this morning at 10.30 and des & mel at 1.00 from next week with them laughing ending with a yellow shiny square endboard, i wonder whether we will see different for daytime and prime/night time!?

I wonder when we'll see the first new ident, will the Loose Women lead into This Morning at 10.30 I wonder. I wonder what the music on the idents will be like?

I wonder what this means for the regional celeb idents. I've got a horrible feeling that there's going to be a mixture between the old and new idents, but I really hope I'm wrong.

It's good to know that the ITV1 Wales name is remaining though.

Thats something else I dont like. I can understand trailing things, but this is what the old ECP was for. I dont like it before programmes, especially following the new start up sequence.

I think they have been leading into this morning, havent they?

Regional celebs. They may have recorded some lik ethey did before, but wont have put them onto the start up as people wont recognise them.
Alternatively we may just have new idents of celebrities meaning something to that region (though most of the time they dont!)

Did anyone see two boys and a girl running on the ident? It reminded me of Des, Stephen & Tess; though it would have been stupid as Stephen is a guest presenter and Tess has now left!

I wonder whether we will see a new ECP design and credit backgrounds.

What was this breakbumper like?

To be honest I hope they keep some of the old ones, as then we'll have 5 different sets and themes, therefore more variety. that is if the ITV1 logo will animate the same as the old ones do, it'd just be like introducing a new 5th set and 5th tune

It may be my new TV making them look different, but the squares on the break flash look a bit more rounded.

To me they just looked like the ones used on the film break caption a couple of pages back with the itv1 logo on them. Im disapointed that they havent made the itv1 logo as shiny as the squares.
