Was it the Goal Rush? Just caught the return from an ad break and a very very quick flash of something or other. It went so quick I only spotted the ITV Sport logo before the titles came on.

There has been a sneaky peak at the new ITV1 graphics on ITV1 this afternoon!

A different advert board to the usual "three-blue-blocks-and-a-yellow-one-with-name-of-programme-underneath" was used overnight. It looked a little more pleasingly 3D and the text was all in caps in a different font to that usually used. Is this part of the exciting new ITV1 that we'll be seeing from Monday or just, well, not?
OH
As always the time to preview the new look graphics is on ITV Nighttime where they have always revealed the new-look before the 'actual' launch!
Yes I saw the new-style break captions for Columbo this afternoon and I wasnt THAT impressed with them really!
The four coloured blocks have now become wire-frames and alomst look like blocks of ice in dark blue and a very dark background with a similar font to now in similar colours but all in CAPITAL letters!
I think it would have suited a Superman film or something but I didnt really see anything wrong with the previous look.
I wonder whether this is going to be a TOTAL new-look or whether it is in addition to the current look?

Answer; I dont know, we'll have to wait and see.
I like how they are creating proper trailers rather than using bits of programmes, such as the new emmerdale one. WOuld this emmerdale trailer cause fits for epileptic viewers with the flashing lights; dont they have to warn viewers first.
I thought it wouldve been before the goal rush judging by the time it was posted.
I want to know why itv1 for carlton in the central england (west) still dont have break flashes between the adverts, coming up to a year after they were first introduced!

It's something to do with the pres suite not being able to play out animations below a certain number of frames; it's the same situation with GMG North.

Yeh, that Emmerdale "Must/Lust See" trail is fab, it has high production qualities for a trailer. It's like those special Corrie trailers they did for Killer Corrie and Street Heat. Oh, and what's that song on the Emmerdale trailer ? I can't get it out of my head at the moment.

The glassy ones? Strange there was no yellow.
On Tyne Tees a new advert-selling-advert is going out which is using the new nightscreen-style graphics.
