New ITV1 Idents

I still don't know who that guy is who is reading through a script, not the guy who was in Trial & Retribution but the other one.

Its Frank Skinner thats on TOO much!!
I am sick of all his idents!

Good news for all announcer anoraks, I hear all of the ITV1 Announcers are going to appear on there own Ident, all perched on top of three widescreen TV's with arms crossed. Should 'air' just before Christmas. with

I havent seen THAT many Frank Skinner idents and think they should use them MORE to help promote his programme!

Also it will be great to see all the announcers on an Xmas ident - lets hope they make one for ITV1Wales aswell!?

What do you mean? Are there are no real people behind the voices ? Or are they all computer aided voices?

What I'm worried about is where LNN are going to find three widescreen televisions.

With all the recent cutbacks, I'd doubt they could afford THREE.

Its a shame that they didnt make them with the others, as it will look a bit out of place.

Hopefully itv1 wil make an effort this christmas. It would be nice to see the celebrities in a christmas environment, some in a house wating dinner, pulling crackers, then outside playing in the snow, etc.

I can see it now on the monday before christmas they launch with a launch trailer to the music of 'santa claus is coming to town', ending with the squares flying past santa in the dark xmas sky forming the itv1 logo, that is extra sparkly for christmas.

Have we any hope?

Awwww, shame it's come too late for Maggie Mash. Couldn't they just do one especially for her ?

Well maybe I'm watching ITV1 at the wrong times, and ALWAYS catch a Frank Skinner ident.

Anyway, does he program need that much more promotion? Anyway, we could have a Simon, Cat, Corrie etc ident with the announcer - "Frank Skinner, Tonight, 10:30 - Now a changed to the billed its......" That’s still good enough promotion, with out seeing his idents.

The idents that are used the least are the 'Tube' ones. I don’t really see those ones all that much. Well I suppose there just like the old Des/Fern/Chris/Cilla idents, with the C*** music.

Talking of Christmas stuff, What about Scottish/Grampian/Ulster? Cant see announcers sat on TV's in those regions. Maybe a bit of Tincle on the STV or Grampian logo??? God Knows.
