New ITV1 Idents

You've resorted to taping nighttime again then?? I noticed most of the old ones on TV Home were into CD:UK Hotshots and stuff!

The newsreaders I presume!

The ones on the promo Katie Derham, Mark Austin, Nicholas Owen and John Suchet.

I wonder why Trevor wasnt in the promo! Perhaps its because he was on the last lot, thus why Jim Rosenthal has an ident this year!

Haha, yes! It's far easier setting up the VCR before going to bed and editing the clips from a tape the next day than doing it during an evening when I don't always want to flip back to ITV1 each junction or, if out, that the digibox has been kept on ITV1!

Jim Rosenthal was in the last lot, with the tyre rolling past.

He was in the second wave though wasn't he, when a few more were introduced later.

Most GMG regions haven't seen any of their regional idents yet, that's a problem with regional programming being mainly on Thursdays and Sundays!

On Thursday look out for 2.30pm, 7.30pm, 10.30pm AND 11.30pm!!

Then Sunday at 11.05pm and then Sunday at 12.30pm, 2.05pm and 5.45pm

Oh really. Actually thinking about it, maybe I did see it once just before this F1 season started. Noticed that the tubes set uses a laid back blues sound, dont know how this will work with simon cowell, or roy & hayley!

It was funny seeing a ITV1 London branded ident today in the style of the rest of the regional ones. I'd never seen it before!

I don't suppose Glynis Barber will be having an ident this time around (she was in Night and Day).

The more I see the generics, the more I dislike them. I'd like the old ones to be used from time to time. I also think they should make some other generics - such as "Movie Premiere" ones. I like theOdeon style clip they play before films and drama premieres and see no reason why these couldn't be used as idents.
