I like the new idents and the music more dramatic.
I just wished some the junction timings were better - idents and announcements have been 'snatched' abruptly today sometimes cutting off the last few words.

Very nice - love the blue ident! Must say I prefer the shorter versions as they don't seem as drawn out animation wise and have a grander feel due to the short drumroll at the beginning and the short and punchy ending.

The new look is great! I like the regional one we had in Granada Land, looks better than before, but the Chris one on Central at 2:30, god he did look like a monkey when he was walking backwards with his arm at the side like a monkey!
At 2:30 when wales used the Bill one with reg from the old set, I thought it looked rubbish compared to the new ones. The Breakflash is not much different, I thought it would have changed a lot.
Scottish/Grampian and UTV today are just such a turn off. I think STV/Grampians idents look not much today after seeing the new ones.
When will TheTv room/Tv Home etc get some new idents up?

I think that so far it's very much an improvement. Admittedly, it's still a bit crap (I still really don't like the idea of celebs in the idents) but all the other bits of pres are much stronger - the break bumper, the new promo style, even the generic pre-news ident is much more satisfying. The ECPs still look a bit wrong, but I am anti- ECP anyway, so I'd say that.
The set for the celebs is much better, but not having seen many of the actual idents (just the first one at 11.30) I don't know if they are still staring awkwardly into the camera lens or perhaps being a little more active.
Now all I need is there to be a station clock, and I'll be happy. Yeeesss...

The NEXT slide has been given the shiny blue square look. It was much darker and shiny looking than the old one.
I'm thinking that the old blue and white promo endboards looked kind of dull in comparison to the new ones out today.

Well I have mixed feelings about this new look.
The celeb idents are far better than the old ones, I love the studios, although I still find some of them a bit slow and boring (eg. the Pop Idol judges one). I'm not keen on the way the ITV1 logo forms up, though.
The pre-news idents are ok, not so sure about the squares - it would have been better if they didn't just loop the same animation, fading then out and in again (I think "wishy-washy" was the word someone used earlier).
Not sure about the trail end-boards, I was just beginning to like the other ones! These remind me of the previous era of endboards because of the dark blues - I liked the increased use of white in the other ones. I would have preferred for the logo and information to be either centre-aligned or right-aligned, rather than a mixture.
I haven't seen the ECP for real yet but judging by the cap I saw earlier it looks slightly messy. So I'm not convinced about this new look, it seems a bit of a step backwards to me. I liked the lightness of the old graphics, but these seem to have reverted back to the old (old) darker feel.
