Not so sure about this generic ident - I thought the last one introduced in March was much better. I wonder if there is a blue squares version as well, as I get the impression yellow is being used for daytime (on promos anyway) and blue for night-time.
A much bigger revamp than expected, and it looks like these idents are getting the thumbs up here (maybe that's because we got more than expected).
Hopefully this time ITV1 will link the idents to the seasons of programmes so we don't get Geri Halliwell six months after her only regular ITV appearances come to an end.
PS: My sympathy goes out to all those webmasters who after months of searching and uploading thought they had finally got together the collection of ITV1 idents in the last couple of months - only to discover a complete refreshing of the stations presentation.

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's always been part of that package. The first showing was in November as far as I know.

Whats always been there? If you are talking about the generic ident, there are four versions (i think!) see www.thetvroom.com for more information, the last one was introduced in march. I believe.
