After consulting my trusty Radio Times for next week, I noticed that ITV Weather is presented on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday by someone called Chrissie Reidy. Who the hell is that?!?! Has anyone seen Chrissie elsewhere? I imagine her to be either quite old and ginger or young and blonde (guess which I'd rather it was!).
I seem to remember Chrissie when she was on the finals for The Big Breakfast's 'Find Me A Weather Presenter' contest in July 2000. She was a brightly dressed young woman with dark hair and had personality more suited to her new job.
She was the runner-up to the very camp and annoying Simon Fielder who tended to get a lot of stick throughout his time as weather presenter. Just as well.

she (chrissie) is from brmb flying eye and central tv travel news - shes not a bad presenter from what ive seen. she used to be good on the brmb breakfast show travel - and if shes made it to itv weather i say good luck to her
i only say that because some of the bbcs new weather presenters really, really get on my nerves, carol kirckwood being one of them.
i think the central weather team are streets ahead of even bbc and itv national weather in terms of accuracy (in my oppinion) and being able to watch the weather even if your not interested (ie they dont bore you to the point of grabbing the remote)
