Yes, to be fair even in prime time ITV have been less afraid to try out lesser known presenters in recent years - probably more so than any other channel.

What I would say, especially after seeing ITV's Christmas promo, is that ITV still don't seem to have women hosting many of their big shows.
I can only think of Emma Willis who has hosted recently in primetime (The Voice).

Holly Willoughby does Dancing on Ice, but apart from that I can’t think of anyone else.

I think the issue there is, once you take out Ant & Dec’s there aren’t many ‘big’ shows of that level. You could also argue that the judging panels are equally important on things like The Masked Singer and they tend to be pretty equally balanced.

Davina on Don't Try This At Home!
Cilla on Blind Date / Surprise Surprise / Moment Of Truth
Ulrika on Gladiators

The National Lottery does not have enough break bumpers to sponsor a 90-minute show. Hopefully we see more in the next few weeks. They only have 2.

3 if you include the one at the end.

They're actually sponsoring three shows, so I'd like to think they'll stick their arses into gear come January.

They were the exact same bumpers as those for The Masked Singer: The Story So Far so I wouldn’t hold your breath for new ones, at least for The Masked Singer.

I’m sure that for other shows there will be different bumpers.

Considering their ad campaigns are annoyingly catchy I expected better really.
