New ITV Logos and Info Unveiled

The member of Digital Spy from where these images and information came from also posted a mock from TV forum earlier. So I would take it with a pinch of salt.

Having said that, all except the date of Nov 1st (which anybody could hazzard a guess at), was known about anyway.

Not to mention these images are clearly mocks. Rolling Eyes

Yes, they're certainly not 'official' logos. Looking back at BBC Broadcast's past work, I very much doubt they'd come up with anything near as lacking in careful thought and hard work as this. I imagine the logos would have rounded corners like the official ITV4 logo, and I doubt they'd use that Frutiger/Myriad font (which funnily enough seems to get used quite a lot around the mocks forum by certain people, but I'm not implying a thing!), in fact it looks as if they have a new font (see the ITV4 site) so I'd imagine they'd use that.

So has this forum really got to the stage that someone's post on Digital Spy is treat as genuine by 3 pages worth of posts. How pathetic.

How many times has someone on a forum posted something 'from a friend who works at...' and how many times have they been true? Rolling Eyes

Just to confirm what most of us know, these are mocks. The new ITV logos are similar, but the colours are not the same, and the number font is wrong for 1,2 and 3.

From what I remember, ITV1 was yellow, and ITV3 was blue. I can't remember ITV2 but it was possibly red. The numbers have no curves, they're just straight lines.

1/ How do you know about the logos?
2/ Do you like them?
3/ Is the block with the number in it black, or transparent?
4/ Have you seen a news logo?
