New ITV Logos and Info Unveiled

Well... sort of. (September 2005)

All of this according to a member over at DS:

- New identities will go live across the network on November 1
- Were designed by "Creative Broadcast Services"
- The logos are designed to be "uniform"
- Each channel will have unique idents and programme trails suited to the channel's style.
- The News is getting new graphics but keeping the set, which apparently can be transformed cheaply.
- 3 and 4 are done, 1 and 2 are still being finished.

And what will it mean for SMG and UTV? Will they be sticking with their current ITV logo-inspired logos? Or will they stay the same as now?

Strange that the four is the only one with individual detailing on the number.

How come these have a white background behind the number, and how come the number is the color of the block?

On the ITV4 site it's black with a white number...

I'd just like to make it clear now that if anyone has any doubts about these designs that they shouldn't come screaming to me.

I merely am passing on what I saw in the Broadcasting forum of Digital Spy.

Just thought I would clear that up Smile You're right James, the logo for ITV4 is different here to the website.

They might be transparent , that would possibly be the reason why one is black and one is white.

he did say in the email I shouldn't mention hisname or title either so I won't. ITV can't single him out, it could be anyone

I am asking him for more info on ITV news so we'll see

I think they are possibly real. www.itv.com/itv4 <--- the new ITV4 Logo and it looks VERY similar to that posted above.

STV: NO becuase we don't have them we still se those god afwal people looking in to carmer idents (there also soem scottish one with newscaster as well )
The only STV, grampian will use these NO titles is if there you teh background and just slap on Scottish TV instead of ITV1
