Incorporating the new logo. Quite nice actually, although I don't know why they've put the clock in a massive box and cramped the score into a smaller one. Confused

I don't like it. I think the score should sit underneath the itv logo and the time.
The black/white scheme is okay I guess but we could do with some transparency I think.

I don't understand why they can't use the one in line with all the Champions League graphics, like Sky do.

Because their one has a big 'itv' slapped across it.

But in the same way that SKY Sports and ITV4 have their logos on the right hand side, they could surely create a translucent ITV Sport dog to sit on the right. Though this may get complaints from some.

Considering that it's the first live ITV football match/es since the relaunch, I thought that I would tune in to see what they'd changed, but mostly how they'd incorporated the new logo. And in my opinion it was very shoddily.

On the score cards, the ITV Sport logo was white, but ontop of a black box, and not directly ontop of the blackground. This appears to be the same with everything, as though they either don't have a proper logo, or haven't done anything with it.

Surely they could just have the ITV Sport logo as a character in a font, and add it that way, couldn't they?

It's virtually identical to the BBC graphic.

It's funny how these scorebars seem to have gone full circle. They always used to be a linear strip with just a short version of the teams name, then changed to a stacked logo with the full name (or longer abbreviation), and now have gone back to the linear strip.

On the continent they hav virtually the same style of scoreboard, except for ITV who have gone for something wacky!

Turn to ITV4 any time now to see their interpretation of the new ITV scorebar - it's horrible. They've taken the concept of the black and used it for the logo and clock, yet the team names and score have a purple colour. Doesn't work.

its not bad, just the colour doesn't work

That's my point...

It is vile, but it looked even worse when it used to be that purple shape with the blue & yellow ITV Football logo/clock before hand.

The sports department have really been rough with the new logo, no actual new graphics, no actual new identity, just a dodgy black or white logo.
Which is the true identity anyway?

And weren't Red Bee supposed to be rebranding the whole of ITV, therefore wouldn't all elements, such as Sport be considered?
