Isn't it moving to Saturday nights again?
I heard that - apparently they will do a 1 hour special
Don't know what's special about it.

I watched the show the other day and it isnt that bad really. The host can be a bit annoying though

Not that ITV have any common sense but wouldn't it make more sense to put the shows like Midsomer Murders on in a full two-hour slot from 2pm, and then put CITV on at 4pm.
Firstly, a two-hour murder mystery (though a repeat) would actually be a genuine alternative in the afternoon and I think the audience are more likely to make an effort to tune in, while in the hour-long slot people will just watch them if they catch them.
ITV are more likely to grab an audience at 2pm and keep them for a couple of hours than get people to switch over midway through Countdown!
And secondly, as CITV is seemingly so unprofitable, surely it makes more sense to put it on against Deal or No Deal and just accept defeat!
Not sure how the Deal or No Deal audience breaks up as it has quite a wide appeal, but I think that it's no contest between a popular game show and a repeat of Heartbeat - while with CITV although you'll lose the people with no kids (and the grey generation are supposed to be so unattractive to advertisers anyhow!), your more likely to keep the younger viewers - and therefore have the telly tuned into ITV come 5pm - and probably for the rest of the early evening!

Crime Hour does sound very simular to when G Plus had a strand called Crime Plus. An interesting idea, but it is bound to be the usual supects eg. Inspector Moorse, Poirot. If they were brave enough they could show some of the seires that are on ITV 4 like The Saint, Man in a Suitcase, Strange Report and The Persuaders!
Now that would be worth staying in to watch.

I think said user might be dyslexic. All your posts are tripe anyway and there's no excuse for you
That coming from someone using the word 'tripe'. How am I supposed to know if the user is dyslexic? And, he may not be.

Nope. It's not going to Saturdays.
Well I've read it is, and they've commissioned something like 30 hour-long Saturday night shows.

For some reason I've gone off daytime tv in many ways. When I watched The One Show last monday the daytime format let me down and wasn't what I expected. Daytime talkshows like the dreadful Jeremy Kyle Show are a nightmare watching because I don't want to see ugly chavs and goths shouting at the audience while JK watches them.
We need something like a gameshow in a daytime slot to balance this out, think Crosswits or Supermarket Sweep.

Just a thought... don't ITV1 tend to refresh their presentation around September each year?
