New idents for BBC Prime?

I've noticed through the TV Room site, that BBC Canada has launched with similar (if not the same) idents from BBC America.
Who saw them know that they are quite more 'stylish' and modern and give an even more british feel to the channel unlike the BBC Prime idents.
My questions is: since BBC America revamped its idents (and Canada adopted them), will BBC Prime follow the example?
To tell the truth, when they first appeared in last December I thought they were the Xmas ones...

AFAIK there are currently no plans to rebrand Prime. I would guess that it maybe a year or two before a rebrand is considered.

I wish! I wish! I wish! Though, alas - Definetly not. A BBC Prime rebrand is out of the question, however rubbish the current look may be...they've only just changed it. Andyrew's right...give it at least a year and a half...
