New identity for Scottish TV & Grampian TV

A sad decision to lose the Grampian brand, from what i've seen of it, it's almost identical to Scottish, another nail in the coffin for the once proud and independent ITV network.

Shame really but we knew it was inevitable when Scottish & Grampian dropped their Thistle & Flag logos.

ah, i've started watching channel 853 on Telewest anyways... someone let me know when SMG finally sell on to ITV.

Just a small point of interest. www.stv.co.uk is owned by a certain Virgin Radio...

Virgin Radio in turn is owned by SMG - who also rather co-incidentally own Scottish TV and Grampian TV. Just a matter of a nice little paper-shuffling exercise...

RIP Grampian - Haste ye Back. U will be very sadly missed.
