New Granada logo

Just found this link on the Yorkshire tv site to Ballistixx.com the company whos designed yorkshires current logo. Also on the site is an unusual Granada logo. It's a flash site so I can't put up a direct link to the page. on the main page  click on the O logo on the right and the move over the O image on the left untill 02 apears in one of the boxes

Mmmm, that is interesting. Wonder if Granada are to have a new regional logo to go with the relaunch of Granada Reports ?

looks good - about time they updated the Granada TV logo

Very nice looking logo they've got there. Granada Reports is coming on Monday. Rather a low key end to Granada Tonight - with just a little sequence put together at the end showing the 'best' bits from Tonight over the past however many years.

Interestingly Lucy Meacock commented on how people had 'always called it Granada Reports anyway', even when it was Tonight. Very true.

Is it just me or does 'Granada Reports' just sound old?

Granada Reports doesn't sound old, it sounds great. It's unique too, none of this Tonight rubbish, which now appears on quite a few ITV stations.

They couldn't change their minds over the weekend! Imagine how stupid they'd look if they arrived back with Granada Tonight on Monday! The first indication of the new look should be during GMTV.

That looks ace, better then Yorkshire and Tyne Tees put together!!

The new logo looks quite cool. Glad they kept the arrow. It's about time for a change too! That old arrow G's been around for like 4 decades! (correct me if I'm wrong)

Which means, Yorkshire's scary chevron should now be the oldest ITV logo that's still in existance.
