I didn't realise Extra Gear was a proper full-length programme of its own. Shame it's hidden away on iPlayer.

It gets a BBC2 airing at 22:00, starting next Sunday, so basically a week after the related show went out.

It's not on the BBC schedule page, late decision to show it on BBC Two?

Don't know, I'm looking at Digiguide which last updated yesterday so, if anything, it's been taken out of the schedule since.

It should get an airing though, isn't there a requirement for all BBC Three long form stuff to be shown on One or Two?

Probably, but Drugs Map of Britain has been on the BBC Three website since 4 April and yet to get a BBC One/Two airing.

I tried watching the new Top Gear and gave up after the first few minutes. It was absolutely horrendous. The titles are like something from a 90s TV show and the what I saw of the programme felt like it was made for children with an IQ of zero. I can't even see it lasting to the end of the series.

Might want to check what you're saying there. Personally I thought Matt brought a lot more to the show than Chris did.

Good point. My view still remains though. It's like someone took a massive turd on top of the television and began to wipe it all over the screen.

The irony in you calling the new Top Gear childish is absolutely delicious.
