There was a photo before that one Charlie which only the studio audience saw and had Hamster and May looking very sheepish.

Who's willing to bet that Stuntman won't appear again in series 12? Theivin' Ian didn't last long, did he?

I remember Top Gear Dog had a return appearance in the wind tunnel of the Reliant Rocket episode.

She (real name Teegee) lives with Richard.

<pedant> Her real name is Top Gear Dog, but that's a bit unwieldy, so she's generally called "TGD" ("tee-gee-dee"), or simply "TG" ("tee-gee") by Hammond. </pedant>

We'll ask the dog, shall we? Rolling Eyes One of Hammond's kids called her "Teegee" in his book promo film, so I'm assuming that's what they call her on a day to day basis.

Yes, I'm simply pointing out that they're multiple versions of the same name.

In other news, Sunday's TG hasn't appeared on Dave. Yet.

If you don't want to look a complete tit at work, do not watch the Ronnie Stiggs police chases on the iPlayer...

I've yet to catch up with this week's episode (thank goodness for the iPlayer). I gather there was no Stig this week, I wonder if it this connected to the British Grand Prix.

Media Guardian are reporting today that "Top Gear presenters' futures in doubt" after Hammond and May turned down a pay offer, and their contracts are set to expire at the end of this month...
Top Gear's James May and Richard Hammond 'turned down' BBC offer
Media Guardian posted:
Top Gear stars James May and Richard Hammond have not yet signed new contracts despite their agreements expiring at the end of the month – leading to fears they may leave the show.

Did Top Gear start early last night? Sky+ seems to have missed the start despite being set to give 5 minutes leeway on the beginning.

I don't think so, but schedules on BBC2 were a bit weird with programmes moving over from BBC1 because of the tennis.

TG started at exactly 8pm but my Sky+ missed the start too. My guess is it got confuzzled by all the Wimbledon schedule shuffling.
