Knowing UKTV though, the likelihood of the break being at that point is virtually nil.

My apologies to Mr Rothwell who seems to think that I have to italicise Top Gear. Rolling Eyes

Anyway, I much enjoyed tonight's silliness. Any excuse to smash up the atrociousness that was an Austin Allegro (a Vanden Plas edition no doubt!) is absolutely fine by me! As usual, the fun and games were accompanied by some great comedy and a test drive of a nice fast car.

Lovely. Sunday nights are worth staying in for again!

I apologise for any misunderstanding: I was simply pointing out that her name is Top Gear Dog, with or without the programme title italicised. Teegeedee (or Teegee) is simply a truncation of it.

The last series was on Dave within weeks of it being on BBC Two, so I can't see this being any different, and I'm sure the Dave references would be kept in. When Jezza said see you after the break, I was convinced. Laughing

Probably not, they normally cut the beginning and end. Having a 'coming up next week' or 'welcome to the new series' is irrelevant when they're played in any order.

The irony is they probably will cut out the 'Dave' references, especially if they use BBC Worldwide copies of the show.

I'd love to know what Jeremy found on the internet that had the audience in hysterics.

Broadcast are reporting that 6.1 million tuned in last night.

The camera showed the second photo but for some reason not the first. However I had the pair of photos emailed to me a while ago and they are...

Who's willing to bet that Stuntman won't appear again in series 12? Theivin' Ian didn't last long, did he?

Ahh - no, the joke was that Jeremy said something like "Look what I found on the internet" and they showed something filthy to the 'studio' audience but we at home just got wide shots and closeups of presenters laughing at whatever dodgy image it was on the studio plasma screens. They then showed the two images you've included above.
