A New Face

Hello to everyone at TV Forum!

I'm new here, and I'm looking forward to sharing my views with you all on the threads covered. I've been a fan of TV presentation for ages, and originally lived in London, so I grew up watching Thames and LWT. Why the former had to lose its franchise to that dreaded seven-letter word Carlton is beyond me, but there you go.

I'm also a huge fan of public information films, so if anyone has memories of these, let me know if there's a thread relating to that topic here, as I'd love to get involved.

Feel free to get involved in posting - Just don't post a load of old boll*cks and don't abuse any File Uploading Systems run by Moderators of the forum (never a good idea) and you'll be fine. If only other(s) would realise this...

For those not aware, Mister Trimble has a HUGE thread about PIFs on the TV Ark Forum. It's survived all the forum changes that have happened recently too and is always up the top of the list. Er, anyway, I'll let him speak for himself!
