New Eurovision / EBU Logo

EUR(O)VISION - hmmm.

Does this mean the Eurovision Song Contest will also need a redesign, since their logo was clearly designed to sit nicely with the old EBU one. On that note, the new EBU logo is a bit crap:

Im sure I have seen that type of logo used elsewhere.

Eurovision itself has, as you've seen in that video, but not the song contest. It has that heart logo, remember.

cheap and tacky... kinda fits Eurovision though! LOL!

Frankly, looks like CBC and NOS logos merged with the letters EUR_VISION put on both sides.

I'm glad the Eurovision logo is a bit more inventive than the EBU one and it looks very nice and modern, but what is it? Why is the O like that?

Previous one was distinctive, this one is a bit mainstream, meh.

The O looks like a mistake or problem with the font - the bigger version of the logo anyway. It also looks too basic.
