Sorry if this is not new, but I haven't seen a BBC News Summary for 6 weeks nearly, until today - and today they used a different end shot (as well as a new opening shot after titles, incorporating the screen to the left of the presenter):

Yeah I saw that too, I think it could be because the usual endview camera was needed for UK Today, or it might be new today! It's much better than the other, it should be the one they use all the time.

I reckon that shot is great. Perhaps at the end of main news programmes we could have an eye-level camera with a wide shot of the studio from that angle?!

To be honest the national news studio is a load of crap - even Wales Today has a bigger and snazzier studio! c'mon you lame people at TVC!

The opening shot is even better, but I didn't manage to get it Sad

I'll try again tomorrow afternoon!

Yes, Wales Today has a brilliant studio, so big and spacious!

Well the new team have been producing the summaries for a week now so perhaps they're trying out new things!!!

And a new studio I hope! N6 looks like it shares its space with the BBC Caretaker down deep below ground underneath the concrete doughnut! Wink

Don't think you're going to see a new studio I'm afraid!
But the new camera angle may well make an appearance at 1800 Wink Wink

What did they do at the end of the BBC News at 6? Was the usual camera used, or that other one?

Maybe they did that angle so not to show the new red notice board!!!

They might have used that angle as the red board was still being done or wasnt half finished?
