Along with new titles we also have a new Belle Dingle.
And she's brilliant. They really do pick the talent young in Yorkshire.

Yes, I think this actress is better than the previous one, who seemed to be mute for the most part.
She was too young to learn a line; but you've only got to watch toddler TJ in a scene to know he's reacting to every word he hears. When I said, "young" I really meant it!.

They've changed Belle Dingle quite early, we normally have to wait until they are about 11. They then introduce a new actor/actress who looks about 15 and immediately starts a storyline where they are either smoking, drinking or going with half the village.
A poor actor I can't believe they stuck with so long was Joseph

It was reported yesterday in the Daily Mirror (so reputable source) that Claire King, Kim Tate is returning to Emmerdale next Easter for a 6 month spell.
Apparently she will clash with Sadie King. Sounds good, I always liked the Kim Tate character, brought a touch of Dynasty to the Dales.

Also a new start time of 6.50 p.m for the Sunday episode starting October 30.
This is to make way for thirteen new episodes of Creature Comforts at 7.20 p.m.
I don't see the point in that. Why don't they just put "Creature Comforts" on at 18:50, and leave Emmerdale at 19:00?
Or is this so Emmerdale and Coronation Street fans have a chance to make themselves a brew between shows?

Yes that was really nice. Shame there wasn't an 'in memory of Stan Richards' caption at the end but good nonetheless.

A nice send off to Seth on Emmerdale this week.
Plus the second ITV1 soap to have a special credits sequence this week, with the theme being played by piano, and no announcer and ECP.
