New Discovery idents?

Has the Discovery Channel had a graphics refresh? The trailers, menus and slides are the same as they were before, but I saw a new ident at the 2pm junction.

It was from the point of view of a climber, ascending some rocks above a cliff edge. The logo faded in in the centre.

True, it wasn't on par with Channel 4 or BBC2, but it looks like a vast improvement over the previous set (designed by Red Bee).

They have had these new idents for a while, to me they do not fit in with the trailers and the bumper now.

The old idents were much, much nicer.
