(14:9 analogue I'm afraid - captured it by chance!)

This one will be like the harbour and music stage ones...rarely to be seen again Rolling Eyes

Still haven't seen this mysterious Harbour one! Did anyone manage to get a capture of it?

I don't get why channels do that. They spend cash on making new, professional idents and they only air once. It happened a lot with the 2000 Scottish/Grampian look.

Just a thought: Perhaps they don't air them because they are too long. That ident above was 43s long.

i love it !!! but why are they leaving them ?! i was very surprised that they didnt even use the music stage one to introduce the carling live 24 event because if i recall rightly the night the stage ident was on was 1 night before it.

The 'Stage' ident was just shown before highlights of the Isle Of Wight festival. Very Happy

I'm keeping an eye out for this harbour ident that I've yet to see

I was thinking that...during the ident, the announcement itself was only around 20 seconds or less, so it's not like a 43'' ident was absolutely necessary. They certainly aren't appearing relative to programme content

It happens a lot more than you think, design companies produce either a large package of items or a kit of parts, but not everything is used. Some things they just won't have a use for, others won't turn out as good as they were expected to.

It's the same with radio jingle packages, stations don't use every 'cut' that is supplied to them
