That ^ is pretty bad, but overall I quite like the C4 presentation. It manages to give each channel its own identity while unifying them at the same time. Also, the SLUGs are played out over the credits rather than the actual program, meaning they don't interrupt the program itself (ITV) or make the credits unreadable (BBC).

Slugs were always better at the top though, they never covered up anything important.

Out of the promos featured in the idents.tv post, the first one is 'Kortisin' by Plaid. Don't know about the other two though. I know that 'Eyen' by Plaid is also used in one of the "20 Questions" promos.

If they just kept them blue ones white it wouldn't be so bad - the one they use with the BB eye looks much better than the C4 one.
They have started using a version though at the top of the screen in the last week or so when credits are running at the bottom.
However, since these were introduced the cross channel branding is all over the place. Sometimes they use one like that, other times they use the white background with the channel logos and occasionally on C4 they use the E4/Film4/More4 graphics themselves.
They should have stuck with the version of the menu they introduced just a couple of months ago - small logo on left followed by the programme on now, though IMO the best version they had was the one used when they relaunched in 2005 when the menu would spin around from the C4 listings to the E4 listings.
