New Channel 4 Slugs/ECP

The new cross-channel promotion looks a mess.

None too pretty when compared to what used to be used.

Is the E4 box bigger as it was being highlighted? (Sorry havn't seen these myself). I think a white background to all of the channels, just using the text colour to distinguish the different channels (like they used to with the 'on all 4s' slide, only as a half screen) would look much better.

When it popped up at the end of Paul O'Grady, it felt like what C4 use to look like before they changed in late Dece 04

Yes, each box expanded in turn as the announcer went through "all the Fours" .

I guess the C4 ones are based on the colour used in the text on the promos - and it looks pretty horrid to me. I've never thought the C4 logo looks that good in white in that form.

I noticed E4 showed their currently huge box during Friends earlier. Has it changed over the course of the night?

Oh, and they've been DOGless for the entire night.

E4+1 has a permanent DOG at the moment. It doesn't disappear for the ads, it also isn't as incredibly fat as it usually is.

E4's DOG does seem to play up every couple of months.

They haven't had a break down though for a while - usually E4 get one every few weeks!

I thought the old ones were very inovative but these ones are absolutely horrible. Oh well at least they don't have the whole screen clogged up!
