New Channel 4 idents

I've spotted the Sofa ident at least 3 times now, all of which happened to be around gone midnight / 1am-ish, I think. There's so many items to be spotted around the room during that sequence, that you can't really take all of the bits in during the 20 seconds or so it's on-screen...

Trafalgar Square is getting a fair few airings too lately.

The sofa ident pops up quite often before The Simpsons and Hollyoaks. I'd imagine the pigeon trap ident is restricted to later in the evening due to the disturbing nature.

Well just sick humour really, but I'd imagine if they show alot of pigeons getting squished during daytime someone would complain. Personally I'm all for it myself.

C4 seem to like launching their idents late at night and only playing them occassionally before moving them into primetime about a month or so later.


Not sure about it myself - the sofa seems to get in the way when it's formed - really it should have been part of the logo!

YES, but I never relised that the bird got spat!

Just seen a new one with a rocky coast, a bit like The Needles, but make a '4' instead.

The number of idents that have been added to the set in such a short space of time, is surprising to me.
