If this is it then I don't actually think this is the Harbour ident. I remember seeing the Harbour ident and if I remeber rightly it was set at night and by the sea as boats came into the harbour. Unless that was some sort of odd dream, I think this is a new ident again.

No RDJ - I did say I thought it was the "Dockyard" ident when I posted it, which is also one of the new ones. The "harbour" one I haven't seen yet, but will post a cap when I see it.

10PM slot seems the best time to catch these new ones.

The 8:20AM Big Brother show had just been preceded by the Tokyo ident. So no doubt these start off fairly rare and will become more prevalent. Stage was shown twice last night into 2 of the music progs.

With the previous point about the Harbour ident, good to know there could be another night-time ident on its way soon.

Wow !! Another brilliant ident. I hope Channel 4 continue to make new idents, they're fantastic..!

As I live in Suffolk, these look very much like they were filmed at the Port of Felixstowe in Suffolk, which is the largest freight/container port in the UK.

Wouldn't be the first time an ident was filmed at the Port of Felixstowe.

I thought the Felixstowe balloons were really good, quite memorable. But, sadly, that's in the past....

I think this C4 ident could have benefitted from slowing down the pace of the camera panning as it draws closer to the angle of the formed '4'.

Coming to a complete stop at the '4' isn't how these idents work, but at the same time, watching it at normal speed, it's all too much too soon, and as soon as you pick up on the whole '4', it's out of sight again.

Wasn't there a BBC1 balloon ident filmed near Felixstowe, complete with piles of cargo and infinite freight containers?

There's a similar sort of feel to the Channel 4 ident I reckon.

i think that this ident was okay, but was just a bit dull. although, i suppose this could be an advantage to have in the package. i absolutely love the tokyo ident, for its bright colour. however, i think that this isn't as amazing as it was hyped up to be, if this is the harbour ident.
good to see them getting a good airing ( :

The problem with this ident is that the logo is obscured when it does form up and you can only really see part of it clearly!

It's better than the stage one though which has the opposite problem and is a bit too obvious!

No, the entire logo is there. If you look where it is supposed to be obscured there is a red container stading on end and a yellow and blue one on either side, forming the entire logo.
