It was shown before Big Brother tonight, watched it 'live' but wasn't near a recorder I'm afraid!!

Wasn't as impressed to be honest, compared to seeing Stage and Tokyo. Still, nice to see another one thrown in the batch and hopefully, easy to cap over the next few days.

Surprised you thought that Asa, I think this one edges out 'Stage' personally. I just wish these ones were shown more often. The 'Council Estate' one and the one on a bowling green bore me!

So that's at least two television idents I can think of which have been filmed at Felixstowe port! (BBC1 globe balloon was filmed there in July 1997).

The flaw with the Channel 4 idents, it they don't stay on longer when it reaches the "4" point, the Habour ident looks good, thanks blackjake for uploading stills.

I must admit that this is one of the most obscure because it doesn't stay on long, but I've captured it from tonights BB, so here you are guys....

Even though I missed it (was the first time I'd seen it), I don't think it's a flaw at all!

It is what the idents are about - they wouldn't be the same if the 4 remained completly formed - and it's refreshing we have a brand which credits viewers with a bit of intelligence rather than sticking a logo on screen throughout the ident!

In fact, though I love the UFO ident I think it is slightly ruined by the C4 logo being so obvious in it compared to some of the other idents!

I completely agree Brekkie - C4 are excellent at producing idents and at least they make us think........you know what the channel idendity is, and you look for it because it is recognisable. C4 has a very clever strategy for brand recognition Laughing

It's not a matter of lack of intelligence, people already know it's Channel 4, I mean it has got distinctive character/style about it, normal people I have asked have breifly noticed it think it's clever the way they did it. Channel 4 has done well IMO by making their package mostly in house. Thats my 2 pence.

If this is it then I don't actually think this is the Harbour ident. I remember seeing the Harbour ident and if I remeber rightly it was set at night and by the sea as boats came into the harbour. Unless that was some sort of odd dream, I think this is a new ident again.
