No sign of any of the new idents since last night's two-in-a-row spotting.
Assuming they were actually meant to be shown last night, I don't know what their use is for. The City/New York and Bowling idents are getting overplayed IMO; it would be nice if they evened out the choices a little more, and show a rare ident at least once every 2 days (I think the only time you can *guarantee* seeing Alien, for example, is before alien-related programmes - other sightings are rare [ but then, aren't all alien sightings rare!
])
Re: BBC TWO, despite the number of ident variants which I assume is considerably greater than C4, it really is time they came up with a whole new look; I hear of no plans for a revamp though, so we may be kept waiting for some time.

fanoftv already mentioned this...and it wasn't the case.

Is the "4" actually real for a change?
Obviously, in most/all of the original set of idents, computer jiggery-pokery makes the "4" - unless, say, bales of hay or New York buildings (etc) actually float in the sky!
But, a "4" made out of speakers, lighting rigs, etc is physically possible. So, did they actually make the "4" for real physically, rather than just with post-production trickery?
EDIT: I've not seen the ident in action, only the stills above. But, on closer examination, I get the impression that the objects are moving without the aid of people, and that some of the spaekers are floating in front of the stage, rather than on it.
So, that rather rules out the idea of it being physically real then...

Well I've had chance to catch a few junctions and had no luck seeing either of them so I guess they weren't meant to be played? Thanks to Lee though for grabbing one of them otherwise we'd have no idea.
Seems the series was known as the "Atlas Project" with 15 idents (of which 10 have now been seen?)

It seems that way, but then I haven't seen Alien in a while (2 - 3 days on the trot checking most of the junctions and no sign of it) and that's definitely part of the current set, so the Stage and Harbour might just be extremely rare. You may be right though, there's just no sure way of telling.
It does seem odd that the one time the 2 idents in question were sighted, they were used in consecutive junctions.

I've seen the Alien ident on a couple of occassions recently. I wonder if the plan was to debut these idents consecutivly between both episodes of lost tomorrow.
