New chairs on the News 24 set!

I noticed that they have installed some new chairs on the News 24 set since the overnight shift! The old ones were grey office chairs, the new ones are black like BBC World's.

While talking about chairs on news 24 has anyone ever noticed how Geeta Guru Murthy must be the only presenter that leans forward instead of sitting as far back as possible like Chris Lowe

Im getting 2 new office chairs soon so they match my big desk (2 identicall desks joined up) thats 2.87m long

Hadn't realised that at all - but now you say it, they do look different!

Maybe Matthew Amroliwala broke one of the old ones by spinning round on it one too many times and they had to buy new chairs...

Or perhaps Jane Hill or Martine Dennis broke the suspension on one of them by bouncing up and down when they speak!

Afraid not. Maxine Mawhinney wasn't on this morning. Bill Tunbull did the 0900 bulletin to fill in until Chris Eakin could arrive for 1000.

I wonder why they didn't call in Brenda Patterson, as she sometimes covers for Maxine during the weekends.

They could have called in Anita McNaught!
