Ah yes but I think those graphics were that quality when it was The Chart Show on Channel 4, when it went to ITV the graphics were better, but it was better on Channel 4 with 'stop,' pause' etc.

Agree about Lauren. it's about time she was given a more high profile show. She has always being massively under-rated, yet she is a damn site better presenter then Cat Deeley, Kate Thornton, Ben Shepard and -bar Ant & Dec- the rest of ITV's new-age 'Top Stars'

Saying that though - i cant help but feel she's flogging a dead horse. Plus she's lumbered with 2 cardboard hosts who look like they've just graduated from "The Cat Deeley School Of Blandness" The black guy in particular is just awful!



That's what i was going to say (not MoM is fantastic..it isn't) but why celebrate 25 years worth of shows that - for the most part - have been eclipsed by whatever has been on BBC1 And why remind us
just how fantastic kids TV presenters used to be (Neil Buchanan, Pat Sharp, Gaz..) by putting them in a studio with modern day kids TV presenters who aren't.

Lauren was fantastic, absolutely wiped the floor with Myleene and Johny. She could probably do the show on her own, the other 2 were very amateur in comparison, and I got the impression that Lauren wasn't very impressed with Johny's constant bumbling through links.

As for the look, I was impressed, the titles worked well and the studio looked great, I particularly liked the interview area with its pink wall TaTu were great too today, love their new song.

sorry to interrupt but i dont like the new look. johnny is awful, myleene isnt that good but shes new in that field so she did well for her capabilities but lauren was fantastic! the titles and theme tune didnt really work though. the studio was nice and glitsy but the new chart is really bad. it has some tough competition from top of the pops reloaded tho, a lot of people seem to like that more now. hardly anyone likes the new look either accordin to other forums . . .
