Nice behind the scenes stuff on BP at the moment. We had an explanation of the digital services and Connie in network control counting down to the new CBBC channel at 7am. Lots of shots of the network gallery!
Also a quick trip from Blue Peter studio to Xchange through all the dodgy area in between studios and a couple of the CBBC digital presenters.

Well I woke at 6.15 this morning to find both CBBC and CBeebies on my EPG - they came on at 6am so no promotions etc, just striaght into the channels.
Have to say I like CBBC - the presenters are good but CBeebies is a little annoying as the presenters (Chris and Pui) keeep on singing. It's cring making!
Have to say Xcahnge was a little strange today on TWAD - kept moving from letterbox (which is what my box is set at) to 4:3 - kept 'bugging' me! Lol!
The Chris bloke on Cbebbies is the most patronising person I've ever seen! I know it's pre-school, but the kids aren't thick.
And what have they done to newsround? Annoying side graphics, double annoying tickertape and even worse music. In fact, there isn't any music - just a collection of squelching sound effects. It isn't quite the same when she says: 'Now for more of the day's news' - there's no jazzy music, just a couple of squeaks.

How annoying is that purple bar at the bottom of Newsround?
It either puts usless information or three arrows up!
And what was the point of the big set when she just stands in front of a small bit of it?
i for one like the new look newsround, very mdoern, simple, and sleek, i think SKYnews should use a similar graphic set

What, with Ferne saying 'watch over there' or something and no one even saying goodbye? Yeah, great ending.
I don't know whether I like it or not. I do like cebeebies or whatever it is. They've got that spot on. I wish I had it when I was a kid. But I've got mixed opinions on everything else. Generally, I don't like it much.
