New Carlton London Coming up Screen

Just spotted this afternoon (first time I've watched Carlton today), and they showed a new coming up screen, with the programme names on the left, and picture that changed when the announcer moved on to the next programme, on the right. Carlton/ITV Logo was in the top left.

I was surprised at it being new, so didn't see much of it, but I'm hoping I'll be able to cap it in about 10mins, if they show it.

There was me thinking anything new was over there in HTV land today

BTW, TV Ark's forum states that a new HTV ident does indeed exist.

I presume they are to fit in with Carltons new HTV idents.

I'll have a look if Carlton Central are doing a similar thing. I would expect they are, the earliest chance I'll have will be at 6:30 as Carlton Central don't use next captions at this time of evening.

Why not they don't stop using them in London:D

Well they have the little 'Coming up on Central News at Six' trailers so therefore they don't use them. It'll be on before the ITV Evening News, almost guarenteed!

Sorry keep forgetting london Tonight is run by LNN so they wouldn't advertise them;)

It's the same type of Coming Up caption that is being used on HTV from today.  On HTV, the carlton stars in the backround are the ITV Hearts as per the 'new' htv ident.  If they show two Coming Up slides then the image is changed using a carlton star, replacing the image from top to bottom.

I hope that makes sense, not sure if it does:D!
