I actually don't mind the logo, but it's the idents that I fear will be crap - have you read the article from Digital Spy? It mentions that "some fifteen new idents have been shot, all featuring the C4 logo suspended in a variety of environments", which doesn't sound at all promising, if you ask me.

I think it is unfair to comment until the new logo is seen in action. I respect from outset people may see the new logo as, well, crap, but the same has been said about many idents on TV Forum. However peoples' opinions always change when they see how they animate, and fit in with the rest of a renewed look, so lets just wait and see.

Does anyone know what'll happen to the Now and Next astons? Hope these will go as they upstage the present idents, and also that there'll be more to the new package than just "idents for everything".

'Tis the season of misery and no goodwill to TV presentation anywhere.
I have a sneaking suspicion they will use the idea where you see some scene from an angle until it sweeps round and parts of the scene reveal themselves to be the logo hanging in the scene. I suspect it's going to look very good and lots of TVF posters will be eating their words on or soon after 31.12.04

Doesn't really say enough to warrant an opinion really.
