I'm pretty certain that LivingTV used pay freelancers £200 per shift but don't think they are live any more. As for C4, no idea. I think they don't get closer to £40k. Dan thinks they do get closer to £40k. You, dear reader, may think differently. I've often found Ch4 has something of an Irish undercurrent to it in the announcers, presenters and often programmes it uses down though the years. Have others have detected that at all?

True, but it is in US dollars so that doesn't count as PROPER money does it?

Depends how long you want the hooker for. A full hour, or just half an hour. Half an hour would cost you around $150.
If that includes her bus fare to Portgordon it's a bargain. Big Morag who does favours for sailors is only £12. Her pitch is near Buckie harbour so as an incentive to regular customers she is offering free crabs or is it lobsters?
