Second new ident: Bounce, 4:3. Again, I can't see how this 2 has personality, it's just a 2 boucing around, like someone's dropped it. And like Mackerel, it just looks like someone's knocked it up in 10 minutes with a basic computer animation package. It's the sort of thing that might have looked cutting-edge if they'd done it ten years ago, but looks dated now.

This so annoying - everything was so well designed as it was!
Just wait till News 24 adopts trailers with the time and title bottom left - or shows a BBC2 trailer - it'll clash with the clock! And the purple box, not only on the idents but remaining throughout trailers - yuck!
At least DOG haters can rejoice - the News 24 URL's gone, and the positioning of the URL on the new idents is precisely where a DOG would go!
But overall, it's a sad day for BBC presentation. Make the most of the way BBC1, Choice, Knowledge and News 24 look at the moment. They'll be next...

Eh? I don't think ident number 3 is mentioned in the Sunday Times! Looked like a spoof of domino-a long line of 2s,the first 2 had hands and blows his whistle,and only one 2 falls over! Lol! That's the best one I've seen do far!

Um... into uncharted waters title-wise here, the third ident had a load of little 2s lined up as a toppling-domino set-up, and another 2 with arms (oh dear) blowing a whistle, at which point the first 2 falls over - the wrong way. And the 2 with arms motions impatiently for the fallen 2 to get up. Might be a promising idea, if there are two versions - this one where the 2 falls the wrong way, and another where the 2 falls the right way and sets the 'dominos' off and you'd never know which one you were watching until it happened. But a promising idea is still made to look crap by badly-rendered graphics and that hideous colour scheme.

These schools programmes must be getting much higher ratings than normal this morning!
Mackerel started further into the full ident this time (eliminating the bit before the fish come in) and we saw the last mackerel swim right up to the 2 and, er, kiss it?!
but all set for ident 3!
