New BBC2 graphic?

I apologise if it's been seen before, but there was something rather strange between Flog It and Abroad Again In Britain.

It featured a boy walking through a library in black and white cartoon and he looked at 4 different 'screens'. Each had a programme from BBC 1,2,3 and 4.

I can remember the BBC1 was Child of Our Time, 3 was something with Jonny Vegas and 4 was a Luther King documentary.

Is this new or has it been around for a while?

It's a weekly "Showcase" trail and they've been appearing for about the last two months.

Oops. Shows how observant I am.

I only noticed them the other week myself, and I don't like them. A rubbish form of animation. It could have all been brought together much better than it has been.

Well I think it's quite nicely produced - an excellent alternative to standard trails. It's not quite as in-your-face either, and fancy graphics aren't really nessecary in this situation.

i quite like the showcase thing they show cause it's got the idents on the tvs!
