I read a post on here a few months ago saying that BBC1 were getting rid of the dancers on Jan 2nd. Is this actually happening? There haven't been any more posts and nothing from BBC press office, so i was wondering if anyone on here knew what's happening

No, but there is a new ident ('Tumbler') launching at the beginning of January.

I expect this new ident 'Tumbler' will launch Monday 3rd January 2005 or Monday 10th January (at 7.00pm OR 8.00pm on both dates). It will have been exactly a year since the launch of the new regular dancer ident.
The last new dancer ident was Maasai which launched at 7.00pm on Monday 5th January 2004 !!
Might be coincidence, but on Monday 3rd Jan 2005 at 7.00pm is 'Big Cat Week' which is what Maasai premiered before a year ago!!

I wonder what tumbler will be like?? Lots of people doing rolly-polly type movements??

I am looking forward to "Steamroller" which launches in Feb and features Lorraine Heggessey and a number of rude TVF members tied to a tree which is in the path of a runaway Roller. Laughing

An interesting departure. The red doesn't come into that particular ident until quite late in the action. Smile
